Motorola MaxTrac Mobile Radio
Specifications

Motorola's MaxTrac mobile helps you respond quickly to changing situations or customer needs, from the convenience of your vehicle. The affordable, compact unit fits comfortably in today's downsized vehicles. With up to 32 channel operation and wide-spaced channel separation, this synthesized radio meets even complex requirements.

A time-out timer automatically prevents the tying up of a channel due to inadvertent keying of the transmitter. Motorola's exclusive PRIVATE-LINE and DIGITAL PRIVATE-LINE coded squelch minimizes annoying co-channel reception for clearer communications. Both types of squelch can be used within the same unit, so you can operate off multiple repeaters, enhancing your flexibility in structuring your coverage area and talkgroups.

Channel Scan features a user programmable scan list and dual priority channel scan, allowing quicker response even when listening to a non-priority channel. Other features include telephone interconnect, enabling operators to make and receive telephone calls in their vehicles. Paging and emergency features are also available.

The MaxTrac mobile radio is subjected during the design stages to our Accelerated Life Test, which simulates years of intensive field stress in a few weeks. The radio meets MIL Specs 810E, the Department of Defense's most rigorous tests for radio standards.
